The Huawei MA5680T is a high-performance OLT terminal designed for GPON networks. The 10U high chassis supports up to 14 GPON service boards, allowing a maximum of 28672 subscribers with 16-port boards or 14336 subscribers with 8-port boards (GPON boards not included). Included with the OLT MA5680T are:

• Two DC power boards (PRTE model), operating redundantly (48 V) to ensure continuous operation.


• Two X2CS uplink boards, each with two SFP slots (10 Gbps), ensuring high throughput.


• Two SCUN control boards, responsible for management and stable operation.

• Support for multiple access methods, VDSL2/ADSL2 /G.SHDSL/POTS/ISDN/ PON/Ethernet P2P;


• Support for multiple scenarios: FTTC / FTTB / FTTH / FTTO / FTTM.


• Provide high capacity IPTV services, 8K multicast users and 4K multicast channels;


• H-QoS supports 3 levels of QoS (different providers/services/users) to guarantee wholesale OLT transmission;


• High aggregation bandwidth, 3.2T bit/s backplane bandwidth, 960G bit/s switch bandwidth, 512K MAC addresses;


• High-density GE/10GE interfaces for cascading, up to 36*10GE or 140*GE interfaces, no need for additional investment in aggregation switches;


• High network reliability supports direct connection to BRAS and flawless software upgrade function.
