The Pro-Micro is an Arduino compatible microcontroller equipped with an Atmel AVR ATmega32U4 microcontroller.
The bootloader for use with the Arduino IDE is already written on the microcontroller.
By closing the solder bridge J1, the voltage converter on the board is bypassed and the board is directly supplied via the microUSB voltage or the VCC pin.
This allows operation from 2.7 V to 5.5 V. The logic level of the module then also corresponds to the supply voltage.
