The offered MA 21-L microphone headset from Midland is an excellent solution for users of Midland CB handheld radios and PMR walkie-talkies. It works perfectly with Midland G5 XT, G6 XT, G7 XT, G8 XT, G9 XT, and Midland ALAN 42 Multi. (however, no VOX with ALAN 42). The built-in PTT/VOX switch and PTT button + microphone allow for comfortable use even when you don't have direct access to the radio. It can be attached to a belt using the clip. The microphone supports the VOX function, meaning it activates itself when you speak into it. You don't need to use the PTT button, which allows for hands-free communication.
