An expansion module for the Raspberry Pi Pico in the form of an RTC real time clock. Featuring a DS3231 precision chip, it uses the I2C bus to communicate with the Raspberry Pi Pico. Its design allows you to add multiple peripherals that connect to each other on a stack basis. The board has an additional holder for a CR1220 pastille battery. The RTC clock counts down seconds, minutes, hours, days, months and years with leap year compensation valid until 2100. The time is displayed in two formats: 24-hour or 12-hour with AM/PM indicator. Additionally, it has two programmable alarms.
