The TL-SF1008P PoE switch features 8 auto-negotiating 10/100 Mbps RJ45 ports, 4 of which (1-4) support Power over Ethernet (PoE). It automatically detects and powers IEEE 802.3af compliant PD devices, extending network reach to areas lacking power outlets. Ideal for access points, IP cameras, IP phones, etc. It prioritizes power allocation (port-1>port-2>port-3>port-4) to protect the system during overload. PoE devices consume up to 57W. Higher priority ports are powered first. For example, if ports 1, 2, and 4 draw 15.4W each (max per port), the system uses 46.2W (PoE LED turns red). If a 12W device is connected to port 3, port 4 will be de-powered. The TL-SF1008P is easy to install and use, requiring no configuration. This reliable 8-port desktop switch with four PoE ports is ideal for home or office network expansion.
