- Press the ON button. The display will show 8.8.8 along with 4 units: psi, bar, kpa and kg/cm2.
- The next step will show 0.0psi or 0.00bar or 0.00kg/cm2 or 0kpa.
- You can now press the ON button to change units (psi>bar>kpa>kg/cm2).
- Place the meter nozzle on the tyre valve. Press firmly to ensure no air escapes. Wait 1-2 seconds, remove the nozzle from the valve and read the tyre pressure on the LCD display. Repeat the operation on the other tyres.
- The display will remain illuminated with the pressure reading for approximately 20 seconds. The pressure gauge will then switch off automatically to save energy.
- The pressure gauge can be manually switched off by pressing the ON button for approximately 3 seconds.
NOTE: You can continue to use the manometer even though the previous reading is still displayed.
- If you observe a low battery symbol on the display - Power has been depleted.
- If you observe an unusually low reading: Make sure you do not hear the sound of escaping air. Also ensure that the pressure gauge is correctly fitted to the valve stem.
- If the tyre pressure is too high in either tyre, slowly deflate the tyre by gently pressing on the tyre valve with the edge of the pressure gauge.
- Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the pressure gauge. Do not immerse in water or spray with water or any other liquid cleaner.
WARNING: For best results, check tyre pressure when tyres are cold. Prolonged driving at high speeds can cause the tyre pressure to rise. Taking pressure readings at this time may give a false result. Check the tyre pressure at least once a week and top up the air if necessary. Refer to your car's owner's manual for recommended tyre pressures. This gauge is intended to provide a guide to help determine the drop in tyre pressure. Only advanced and regularly calibrated measuring devices can provide completely accurate readings.
