You will immediately receive a push notification from your smartphone and/or tablet via the free Smart Life app. Even if you are not at home, you can talk to the person at the door via this app. The Alecto SMART-RING20 video doorbell has good image and sound quality. You can also see who is at your door in the dark thanks to the IR night lighting. When you ring the bell, the bell lights up, so you can see this person very clearly. The doorbell is dust-free and splash-proof (IP54). It has an SD card connection (up to 128 GB). All video images with motion are automatically saved to the SD card. This is free and there are no subscription costs. The wireless doorbell works on WiFi and can be connected directly to the (home) network without any problems. No bridge or gateway is required for this. The doorbell is connected to the free Smart Life App of Tuya which can be downloaded free of charge for all iOS and Android devices. All Alecto Smart Life products can be managed in this app. For example, the SMART doorbell can also be used in home automation scenarios. This allows you, for example, to set the lamp to flash when the doorbell rings, so that you can really be sure that someone is at your door. You can install the Alecto SMART-RING20 as a new doorbell or connect it to your existing doorbell. The camera works on the existing doorbell with 8-24V transformer. It is also expandable with the wireless SMART-RING-BELL from Alecto. Since the bell comes with a corner bracket, it can be placed at an angle with the supplied mounting material. The viewing angle is 55 degrees vertically and 100 degrees horizontally.
